The malfunction was due to the thigh high split of her black figure-hugging dress falling open as she got out of the car by swinging both her legs onto the pavement. Talking to Vanity Fair, the actress opened up about the devastation of the mishap. “I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realize it until I saw all the photographers’ flashes. It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them”, she said at a luncheon on December 11.
