She was devastated by the publication of photos of her exiting a car without any underwear at the Les Miserables New York premiere on Monday.
But Anne Hathaway was grinning from ear to ear as she arrived in Los Angeles with her husband Adam Shulman on Wednesday.
The actress learned this morning that she has been nominated for a Best Supporting Female Actor Award award for her part in the film by the Screen Actors Guild.

Character actress: Anne lost a significant amount of weight and chopped off her hair for the role of Fantine

During an appearance on the Today show earlier today, Anne talked to host Matt Lauer about the embarrassing photos saying: 'It was obviously an unfortunate incident.'
'It kind of made me sad on two accounts. One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it, and do the decent thing, sells it.
'And I’m sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to Les Mis, that's what my character is, she is someone who is forced to sell sex to benefit her child because she has nothing and there's no social safety net.'

The newlywed actress was also overheard explaining the fashion faux pas to Vanity Fair writer Ingrid Sischy over lunch saying: 'I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn't realise until I saw all the photographer's flashes.'
'It was devastating. They saw everything. I may as well have lifted up my skirt for them.'
Anne is one of many female celebrities to be caught with no underwear one, with previous victims including Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.
